An iPad prototype sold for five figures, the next Pixar movie lavishes ghostly love upon late Apple CEO Steve Jobs, and leaked photos suggest that the next iPhone will grow in some ways and shrink in others. The remainders for Tuesday, May 29, 2012, won't stop thinking about tomorrow.

If you had an extra $10,200 sitting around, you could have become the proud owner of a largely non-functional prototype iPad from the deepest bowels of Apple's secret laboratories. This iPad sports not one dock connector port, but two. We may never know what convinced Apple to ship the iPad with a single dock connector port instead, but there is one thing we will never forget: The phrase "dock connector port" sounds considerably more futuristic and sci-fi-ish than the actual jack it describes.

Pixar's next big movie is called , and hits theaters next month. The reports that at an early, unfinished version of the movie shows a ghostly creature flitting around Steve Jobs's name during the film's credits. Spooky? Maybe. But it won't haunt you nearly as long as paying full-price to see did.
