A native Google Maps app for iOS might be in the works, but if so, company chairman Eric Schmidt isn't about to spill the beans. Speaking at an event in Tokyo, the search giant's former CEO said "We have not done anything yet" when asked about a iOS version. Not confirmed is whether or not Schmidt had a twinkle in his eye when he said it.

Speaking of native Google Maps on iOS 6, apparently it's possible to get the old app from iOS 5.1 running on iOS 6--however, he hasn't yet released the methodology to do so, which requires jailbreaking. Also, I'm sure it'll look great for you iPhone 5 users out there.
