Philippines gov't encourage SMBs to use technology

More than 500 accredited providers are expected by 2010.

To give production support, the government hopes to provide a call center infrastructure that will effectively assist MSMEs in maintaining their ICT products and services as well as disseminate technical information.

An annual call volume of over 100,000 calls is expected by 2010.

The council aims to start its focus in the health sector and expect other sectors to follow such as retail, education, auto parts, home decor, and agriculture.
