With these new contracts generated, there is a question of whether or not the country can meet the demand. But according to experts, this is being addressed across all sectors as industry associations have forged strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies like the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Commission on Information and Communication Technologies (CICT), the Board of Investments (BOI), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), an attached agency of the DTI, reported that while the positive results of the concerted efforts will not be felt until a few years from now, the industry is optimistic that their efforts now will successfully promote the industry to students who are looking for careers to pursue. The industry's efforts are also expected to eventually help shape academic curricula to conform to industry requirements so graduates will be ready for work once they get out of school.
