HCL sees strong demand for enterprise services across Asia

Virender Aggarwal, president -- Asia, Africa and the Middle East, HCL Technologies, said the ROW region achieved exceptional performance across the region delivering strong double-digit revenue growth during the second quarter of financial year 2010-11.

HCL has continued sustained investments into emerging markets and has strengthened infrastructure in these countries. The company notes the example of Africa, which has become a robust region for growth with the recent win with one of the largest telecom operators and a prestigious government project in the sub-Saharan market.

"Moving ahead, we are uniquely positioned and will continue to invest in emerging technologies such as cloud computing and mobile technologies to provide enterprises greater flexibility, innovation and to maximise ROI," he added.

During the second quarter of the financial year 2010-11, HCL won the SAP Award for Customer Excellence 2010 in recognition of the company's successful and unique implementation of HRM at the Land Transport Authority Singapore.
