"Because of the politics and ethics behind it all people get emotional and that is fine because it is really the information that is out in the public domain that people are basing their opinions on," he said. Obviously there are the emotional and politically charged ones that want to see us as the big bad wolf, but most people doing decent due diligence realise that this isn't the first time we have done something like this [the testing] and probably won't be the last time."

The company, which is part of RMIT in Melbourne, has been operational for eight years and has conducted many content filter and other kinds of tests. It is also looking to expand into the US in the next 12-18 months after setting up shop in the UK and China over the last couple of years.
