Domino's Pizza (ASX:DMP) has added to its application menu with the launch of an Android app for customers who don't have an iPhone.

Chief executive officer, Don Meji, said in a statement that the company had capitalised on the Android operating system and included features such as a GPS location service for pick-up orders, a widget for customers to receive meal offers and pizza tracker updates. The app uses Android's status bar to provide live updates of an order's progress.

The GPS location function allows customers to locate their nearest store for pick-up orders, while the optional home-screen widget means users can receive offers without having to launch the app.
