The team consists of technology architects, developers and strategists, product managers and sales people who will focus on working with and fast tracking technology development for the defense industry exclusively. This includes defense specific research and development (R&D) funds, service level agreements (SLAs) and collateral development specific to the defense industry.

"Under the Mincom Defence model, a common global defense industry solution is being developed with input from other defense organizations across the globe via military user groups, which means that the software needs little customization, reduces through-life support costs and risk, and enhances interoperability allowing other defense organizations to benefit from it around the world," McDonald said.

"The global military baseline under development is common to Mincom's commercial software core ensuring military customers benefit from the broader commercial footprint."
