CombiTech has released VidBlaster 1.0, the first complete version of the desktop video production software. VidBlaster is Windows PC-based video production, broadcast, recording and streaming software for corporate, web and broadcast productions supporting both NTSC, PAL and HD.

Released after two and half years of international beta testing, according to CombiTech, release 1.0 offers many significant enhancements including integration with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder and Microsoft Windows Media Server. The company says that VidBlaster's live streamer integrates well with sites like Ustream, Stickam or Justin.tv.

VidBlaster is available in three versions: Home, Pro and Studio. VidBlaster Home costs £140 plus VAT and supports up to 7 modules: for example 2 cameras, 2 players, audio, program video and a streamer. VidBlaster Pro costs £357 and supports up to 25 modules.

VidBlaster Studio costs £718 and offers up to 100 modules. VidBlaster Studio also includes the Auto Switcher, a powerful tool that allows you to automatically switch between multiple cameras -- plus the Video Switcher.
