TigerSpike, IPscape take out NSW technology export awards

12.11.2010

Energy efficient software company, BuildingIQ, local robotics company and recent provider of robot technology to the United States Marine Corps, Marathon Robotics, and automated online software company, SolveXia, were the finalists in the rising star award category.

Both TigerSpike and IPscape will each receive $20,000, and services from Invetech, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Spruson & Furguson.

The awards coincide with a NSW Government announcement of $36 million of funding being invested in the digital economy, in an effort to create export opportunities and drive productivity.

The local award success comes after NSW based Talon Technology and Croker Oars , when it unveiled a computerised oar that analyses rowing data at the recent World Rowing Championships in New Zealand.
