Sun, Genuitec preview NetBeans GUI Builder

20.03.2006
Sun Microsystems and Genuitec, a provider of low cost RAD tools for Java and JEE development, on Monday announced a preview of the Matisse4MyEclipse GUI Builder plug-in.

Previously code-named Project Matisse, the Genuitec implementation is based on the GUI Builder feature in NetBeans 5.0 and enables the easy creation of Java Swing rich-client applications within the MyEclipse environment.

The NetBeans 5.0 IDE enables the building of Java Platform applications and supports a variety of technology packs including the NetBeans Enterprise Pack for SOA development and UML modeling support, and the NetBeans C/C++ Pack for developing native applications for Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
