Step 2: Set up your MobileMe account

If you already have a MobileMe account, you don't need to worry about this step; just jump to Step 3. As for those of you who meet all the criteria from Step 1 but don't already have a MobileMe account, fire up Settings on your iOS device and navigate to Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap the Add Account button and select MobileMe. In the fields provided, enter your Apple ID and password. (They're the same ID and password you use to make purchases from the App Store or the iTunes Store.)

If you don't have an Apple ID, you can tap Create Free Apple ID and follow the instructions there.

In either of those cases, you may have to verify your new account; you'll be sent an e-mail to the account you used for your Apple ID, asking you to tap a link and confirm that you are indeed the person who controls this e-mail address.
