Verizon customers need to track their stolen cars, too! Based on rumors from the various Taiwan-based suppliers, the latest thought is that Apple will start shipping CDMA-based, Verizon-compatible iPhones sometime in early 2011. Which means, if you will, that perhaps Verizon is on the horizon. (Apple, you’re free to use that in a press release.)

If you’re a techie and you get an Apple product this holiday season, perhaps you scored a third-generation Kindle instead. If so, you’re not alone; Amazon says its latest Kindle is now the bestselling product in Amazon.com’s history, outselling even the seventh Harry Potter book. Of course, Amazon’s still not saying how many Kindles it has actually sold. Even more damning: the company has thus far not released a single story about finding a stolen car by tracking the forgotten Kindle inside.
