Power consumption and heating associated with non-IT equipment is managed through staff monitoring and specialized equipment.

"We use an under-floor cooling environment which maintains a consistent temperature throughout customer racks and the whole data center environment, and we also have multiple redundant cooling pumps, towers and heat exchangers," Thomson says.
