24.04.2012
LinkedIn has opened its ninth office in Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, announced the world's largest professional network with more than 150 million members.

The Hong Kong office will begin operations with a team of half a dozen local staff across marketing solutions, hiring solutions and marketing.

The establishment of a local presence in Hong Kong reflects the company's continued growth in Asia Pacific over the past year, said the professional networking site in a statement today.

According to the networking site, LinkedIn's Hong Kong office will support close to half a million LinkedIn members living in the territory and the millions of LinkedIn members in the North Asia region.

It will also act as a driver for the company's growth, providing LinkedIn Hiring Solutions, Marketing Solutions and Premium Subscriptions, said LinkedIn.

Hong Kong will be LinkedIn's 25th office globally. In May 2011, LinkedIn opened its regional headquarters in Singapore. It also opened offices in Bengaluru, Melbourne, Perth and Tokyo, and introduced local language sites in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese and Korean in 2011. LinkedIn has over 25 million members in Asia Pacific.
