Inter-City offers cost-cutting service

Malaysian business process outsourcing firm Inter-City MPC has said the current economic downturns would force companies to use better records management to help save costs.

According to Inter-City managing director Zohan Zuki, recent upheavals in the world's financial markets have sparked the need for better records management to help corporations manage information more efficiently.

"Records management can no longer be seen as a traditional back-office support function," said Zuki. "It has now become essential to improve management of key business information to improve corporate governance and transparency, and realise operational cost savings."

Inter-City, a subsidiary of HeiTech Padu, provides end-to-end services to manage complete lifecycle data and document processing and records management.

New ways to lower costs, improve efficiency

"With the current uncertainties in the global economy and increased competition, organisations are looking at new ways to lower costs and improve operations," said Zuki.
