"The main function of the infrastructure operator would be to develop and provide infrastructure services to other government agencies," he said. "These agencies and other organizations then shall coordinate with and outsource infrastructure services to the designated infrastructure operator."

Some of the organizations present in the NAST forum were Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI) of the DOST, Bureau of Agriculture, Commission on ICT, Department of Education, Department of Interior and Local Government, Social Weather Stations, Congressional Commission on Science and Technology and Engineering, among others.
