It's been a long journey. I came to Macworld from MacCentral in 1999 when the company was sold to Mac Publishing. In fact, my 10 year anniversary working for Macworld is in three weeks, on June 1.

I remember the days when every other story on the news referred to Apple as a "beleaguered" company. Speculation that it would fold at any minute or be swallowed up by someone else.

I also remember writing the story of Apple buying NeXT and that Steve Jobs would be triumphantly returning to the company he co-founded so many years ago. That was an exciting time and we all had the feeling that wouldn't be long before Apple would be a powerhouse in the industry.

I will truly miss the daily grind of writing stories and being the first one to publish exclusive information for the readers. I have a great sense of pride for the accomplishments we have made at Macworld, and MacCentral before it. This experience is not one I will ever forget.

What I am going to miss the most is all of the great people that I met throughout my 15 year tenure. Peter Cohen came with me from MacCentral and is not only a colleague, but a true friend. I will miss our daily interactions the most.
