"FaCSIA operates a single SOE with modification for portable and home-use environments to accommodate security provisions for remote access.

"The tenderer must load the FaCSIA desktop SOE to each desktop and portable computer. FaCSIA will arrange to make the required image licence available to the contractor. All approved applications (SOE and non-SOE) are made available via Citrix for remote access. The FaCSIA SOE is based on windows XP Service Pack 2 and consists of Office 2003 Professional, Outlook 2003 integrated with FaCSIA's electronic document management system, MS Communicator and Citrix ICA Client."
