The retail price cuts, of between 3 per cent to 20 per cent across 139 Autodesk products, will help Malaysian companies stay competitive in the current economic conditions, said Tan Choon Sang, Autodesk Malaysia country manager.

"For example, with immediate effect, Autodesk will reduce its suggested retail prices for AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite, Autodesk Inventor as well as Autodesk 3ds Max in Malaysia," said Tan.

Autodesk produces 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing, building, construction, media and entertainment markets.

Tan said companies in these markets will be able to do more with less and achieve better control costs, increase productivity, and shorten time to market.
