The company promises that the game will be the "most mature and complex game on consoles" and that there will be no compromises on quality. The game will be out by the end of the year -- the company says that the delay is due to the fact that they want to make the best possible version of the game on consoles possible -- and not just a straight port.

"We want to make an adaptation, not a port," representatives of the company said.

All of the PC version's updates and DLC will be included in the 360 version, and any new features for the 360 version will be patched into the PC version.

Live gameplay for the console version will be on show at E3.
