Lenovo Introduces ThinkCentre A62 PC to India

Recent months have seen a number of desktops launched for the enterprise segment. Lenovo's ThinkCentre A62 PC is the newest addition to the market and it boasts of consuming 40 watts less power than previous ThinkCentre PCs. Lenovo claims that the low power consumption is due to the new 15w AMD Athlon 2650e processor, which is available in select models.

Additionally, the A62 also has GreenGuard and EPEAT Gold certifications along with a 4.0 Energy Star rating which means that it is suited for an environment friendly office space. Among its other features, the A62 has an ATI Radeon HD3470 card with Hybrid CrossFireX technology and a ThinkVision TFT monitor. For remote management, the A62 includes the Dash 1.1 tool, Express Repair for repairing system errors and ThinkVantage suite which has tools to optimize productivity and manageability.

The ThinkCentre A62 PC is priced at Rs.18,900 (US$380) but users will have to pay more for getting additional features such as green fingerprint keyboard, DisplayPort and Dash 1.1 among others.
