Gears of War developers Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Fergusson have decided on what to do in Gears of War 2 for Valentine's Day. Based on GoW2 community suggestions, they decided on a double-point special for V-Day weekend.

Nothing says "I love you" like double points for revives (in all game types), or for double experience points in Wingman and Horde modes. And if just now you're dreading the prospect of begging your girlfriend for a stay of Valentine's Day expectations so that you can get in on this action, remember you could always invite her to play you. Even if she's not very good at the game, double points go a long way if you can just stay alive long enough to revive somebody.
