GameStop Offers $99 3DS Deal, Misses Ambassador Loophole

If you didn't feel the need to race out to or to take advantage of the early "Get the for $170 and Still Get the Ambassador Goodies" deal, then GameStop has an even lower selling price for you to consider -- starting tomorrow.

Yes, the timeline for the 3DS Ambassador program ends tonight at 11:59 EST, which is coincidentally the same time that GameStop is launching their new trade-in deal. If you fork over your DS Lite?, Nintendo DSi, or Nintendo DSi XL, you can pick up the Nintendo 3DS for a mere $99 on the cheap. Of course, you'll be out one handheld system that had roughly five times the battery life, but alas -- that's the price of dealing with GameStop.

For what it's worth, I did note in that some DS games look a bit fuzzy on the 3DS screen due to some slight resolution differences.
