A bouquet of best-of-breed wireless networking products is now available in South Africa through Fast Forward Systems. The company"s wireless experts say that the company has identified a cluster of top brands that it is importing, in order to pass on its purchasing power economies to the end-user.

Says Fast Forward MD, Frank Claasen: "We provide Linksys, Senao and Mikrotik technologies to our clients. However, Fast Forward is always on the look out for new innovations. There are so many manufacturers coming on to the market that top products can change on a month-to-month basis," notes Frank. "There can always be something better, and we constantly research the market to find the best products available."

Adds product manager, Gerrie Delport: "That makes us different to other wireless providers - we find the best and we sell the best. Some manufacturers concentrate on one aspect of the wireless market, and build units specifically for that area. We can cover a wider range of scenarios for our clients, because we are not locked into any particular product set."

Fast Forward imports a full range of wireless networking products including access points, bridges, notebook cards, desktop cards, antennas, cabling, connectors and mast brackets. The company also supplies specialist wireless equipment to ISPs, as well as providing full back-up support.

The convenience and cost-effectiveness of wireless networks is winning new converts every day, and Fast Forward is positioned to respond rapidly to customer demands. The company offers an all-inclusive installation service that will have a new network up and running in no time.

Fast Forward says that it has carefully selected its product range based on years of experience in the wireless world. As Gerrie notes, Fast Forward has chosen these products because they are stable, simple to configure and easy to maintain. Another plus is that each unit is multi-functional and can be used as an access point, a client bridge or as a repeater. And, of course, the best news is that they are relatively cheap, while still maintaining robust quality levels.

But selling product alone is not enough for the Fast Forward crew, who believe in providing comprehensive back-up support for their wares. "We are always available to our clients," says Frank.
