3DS Gets its First Girlie Game

14.04.2011
What did you want from the Nintendo 3DS when you first knew about it? Lifelike imagery popping out at you, enjoying 3D movies, or maybe something... saucier? Well, if your mind is in the gutter, it's going to blissfully stay there once Senran Kagura comes out.

Kagura is an upcoming Japanese action game for 3DS with a cast of nothing but well-endowed teenage girls from a ninja academy. After you beat up bad guys through the game's stages, key fights will have brief cut-aways for special attacks, where clothes may be torn away, revealing their undies or otherwise featuring their ample assets.

Sure, Kagura is the kind of game that's becoming emblematic of the stereotypes swirling the Japanese game market these days, but we'd advise not taking this one as an indicator of the fall of civilization -- at least Kagura isn't taking itself as seriously as some of the similarly cartoon-girl-filled RPGs and adventures that also come out on a regular basis, and if it turns out to be a fun action game, consider the flesh flying in your face an incentive.
