In an interview with Edge, executive Rod Fergusson noted that Epic is "extremely diligent about getting that stuff taken down" and has "issued a call to fans to not perpetuate it." He went on to say he "[doesn't] think everybody's aware of the potential repercussions of those types of actions."

He went on to clarify his statements to Eurogamer, saying that the developer has "a banning system built into [their] stuff so [they] can go in and identify certain people." He adds, "Some people aren't smart about what they do. They'll be disappointed on 20th September when they can't get in and can't play. They may be banned."

Wanting to protect the integrity of a game you've sunk so much time and effort into is certainly understandable (Fergusson even recounts a particularly unfortunate incident that sees an unruly 'net denizen shouting spoilers in all caps during a video chat with the developer), but how do you guys feel about the possibility of being locked out of a game that you bought fair and square? An eye for an eye, or "You spoil our story, we spoil your fun?"
