But in terms of market adoption, Al Dela Cruz, Symantec's country manager, noted that the enterprise market remains the bigger market for more sophisticated solutions, especially those that reside in the back-end.

'Most of the mid-tier to small companies are still focused on anti-virus solutions, not so much on gateway solutions like intrusion detection,' said Dela Cruz.
