For the second MOU signed in 2005, two high priority e-Government projects were launched: the Kuwait Information Network and the Kuwait Government Online.

"This latest MOU between IDA and CAIT further strengthens the relationship between Singapore and Kuwait," said Leong Keng Thai, IDA's deputy chief executive and director general (Telecoms and Post). "We have learnt from each other through previous engagements and we look forward to continued collaboration with CAIT in the future."

Leong signed the MOU with Ali M. Al-Shuraidah, director general of CAIT, during a state visit by the president of Singapore to Kuwait.
