Singapore and Kuwait strengthen e-Government partnership

06.11.2008
Singapore and Kuwait have strengthened their e-Government partnership following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU).

Under the MOU, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will collaborate with Kuwait's Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) to accelerate the implementation of e-Government initiatives in Kuwait.

Additionally, IDA will advise CAIT on IT and e-Government issues. Both sides will also share experience, technical and operational insights on selected projects.

Building on success

The latest collaboration follows two successful past MOUs signed between Singapore and Kuwait.

Under the first MOU signed in 2004, Singapore provided support to Kuwait in establishing CAIT and developing an e-Government blueprint for the Middle-Eastern nation.
