Wondering if Apple's new technology will eventually make its way to iOS devices? An Apple patent unearthed by one site shows a hybrid USB 3.0/DisplayPort connector that could fit in an iPhone or iPad--and, the thinking goes, since DisplayPort is part of Thunderbolt it could incorporate the high-speed peripheral technology as well. Great, fine, whatever. Call me when it can digitally transmit cookies and we'll talk.
