One of Softweb's most recent clients is in retail. Viloria mentioned that they were able to sign a project with SM for services development. Meanwhile, in banking, some of their projects in applications development include: the development of a loan application system for different business applications for Equitable PCI Bank; the development of a leave applications systems for Hongkong Shanghai Banking Corp.; and the migration of Robinsons Bank's and the Philippine National Bank's existing exchange system to the Domino messaging system.

The company also has clients in the manufacturing sector. Softweb developed a flexible benefit system for La Farge Cement that automates the filing and accessing of an employee's flexible benefits. 'Instead of filling a form, employees just apply over the Web. They can also do reimbursements on that system,' said Viloria.

Viloria revealed that this is one of the cases in which the system resulted in efficiency and productivity for the personnel department. 'Before we did the system, the staff takes about a month to compute reimbursements. Now, with that system, they can easily generate a report anytime.'
