The KDE PIM suite for 4.2 also has significant upgrades with a new planner summary, better drag-and-drop support, network support for notes, and new Google Summer of Code developments in Kmail.

In addition to Kmail user-interface work, there have been bug fixes in IMAP support.

KDE's Web browser, Konqueror, gets improved support for scalable vector graphics and speed improvements thanks to contributions from various developers and code and ideas from the WebKit project.

The new Firefox-like find dialog makes for less intrusive searching inside Web pages.

When Konqueror is started, it can now show the user's bookmarks and easy creation of "Webshortcuts" by right-clicking on a Web site's search field. The Webshortcuts also work in Konqueror.
