18.09.2012

You may not feel inclined to upgrade to Windows 8. But even if that's true, as you plan for upgrades or for buying a new system, it's worthwhile to take steps to ensure a good Windows 8 experience. You may not want Windows 8 today, but eventually you may find a compelling Windows 8 app that draws you to the new OS.

And when you resell the system or hand it down to your kids, they might want Windows 8. It makes sense to try to accommodate future possibilities when you buy today's hardware. You'll reduce the likelihood that you'll encounter a dead end or have to drop even more money for better compatibility in the near future; and in the long run, you'll save both time and money.
