Comcast is working towards the goal of having 1% of its 18 million residential subscribers use IPv6 by June 6, 2012, as part of its commitment to . On , more than 1,000 leading Web sites including Facebook, Google and Bing as well as ISPs such as Comcast, Time Warner and AT&T have committed to turn IPv6 on and leave it on for good.

"We're not there yet, but we are tracking to reach 1% by June 6," Brzozowski said.
