- The Energy Department awarded a $2.5 billion contract to National Security Technologies LLC (NST) to manage and operate its Nevada Test Site. NST is made up of Northrop Grumman and several partners.

- The Air Force awarded a nearly $2 billion, 10-year contract for its transformational satellite system to Lockheed Martin.

- The Commerce Department awarded a $595 million contract to Harris Corp. for a field data collection automation program for the U.S. Census Bureau.
