UFC Undisputed 3 Cover Athlete Decided via Fan Vote

Is your favorite UFC fighter the young upstart Jon "Bones" Jones? Or maybe pound-for-pound kingpin Anderson Silva? Well, those are just two of the five UFC Champions who can be voted in as the cover athlete for , as THQ has announced via press release. By heading over to , fans can pit in their two cents and enter themselves into a sweepstakes for one awesome grand prize.

When you place your vote, you can enter for a chance to win tickets, flight, and a hotel room in Las Vegas, where you could see , where UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre will defend his title in a superfight with Strikeforce Champion Nick Diaz.

Some fight fans will note that although UFC Undisputed 3 includes the recently-added Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions, respective UFC Champions Dominick Cruz and Jose Aldo are not part of the voting process. Bummer. Maybe next year, guys.

The contest starts on Friday, August 26th, and concludes at noon on September 30th. Fans that vote for their favorite fighter at will also have an opportunity to enter into a sweepstakes to win tickets for an upcoming UFC event.

"We are excited to let fans choose the cover athlete for UFC Undisputed 3," UFC President Dana White announced in a press release. "Frankie, Georges, Anderson, Jon, and Cain are five of the most popular athletes in our sport and each wants to be on the cover. We love making our fans a part of the process and we'll leave this one up to them."
