The new phone--which may be named either the Droid RAZR, Droid HD, Spyder, or something else--is a slim and speedy beast to feature a 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of memory, and a Kevlar-coated case. It's also expected to run , the nickname of the next version of Google's Android mobile OS.
As the photo above shows, Motorola's new phone has Droid-like characteristics, including an ultra-slim case with a bump where the camera and flash are housed. Warning: The teaser image may be obscured by a series of shifting, changing titles when you visit the site.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be big days for Android fans worldwide. In addition to the Motorola announcement, Google and Samsung will hold a media event in Hong Kong on October 19 at 9:30 a.m.--that's 10 p.m. US Eastern on October 18.
The two companies will likely unveil the long-awaited Samsung phone running Ice Cream Sandwich.
