"There's no operating system on the hard drive. I make a phone call. 'Just download the OS off the network.' I explain that I can't access the network with a blank hard drive and no boot disk. I'm told to pack up the machine and ship it back to HQ.

"A month goes by. Finally, I call HQ. Where's my PC? They can't find it. Apparently, somebody decided to appropriate it for their own purposes.

"Three months have gone by, and I'm back to square one."
