"That's right -- our cybersecurity people had left the username and password taped right on the machine! It gets even better. The admin could not log in because he had locked down the system so tight that anyone who was not in the local administrators group couldn't access the hard disk drive. No wonder his new user account didn't work -- it couldn't write a profile. When I questioned him about this, he said he locked it down to keep it secure. I guess the password and username taped to the machine wasn't much of a risk."
