Russinovich posted an article about his findings on his Sysinternals blog (www.sysinternals.com/blog/) on Oct. 31. After the news had quickly spread across the Internet, Sony BMG and First 4 Internet Ltd. announced a free 3.5MB software patch that does not uninstall the software but merely removes its cloaking technology.
