Mega Man 10 soundtrack announced

Capcom has just revealed the details of the upcoming official soundtrack release for Mega Man 10. The CD, which is currently only slated to release in Japan may sell for a pretty penny ($27.50), but it comes with plenty of extras to make it worth the extra cash. The soundtrack will include a 12-page color booklet packed with developer comments, and pre-ordering customers will receive a bonus disc including remixes of Mega Man 10's tunes.

And then, there's the soundtrack itself. Players of Mega Man 9 know that game's soundtrack was every bit as retro-cool as the gameplay and visuals, and our limited time with Mega Man 10 and its music has us believing that this game will be no different. The artists creating Mega Man 10's soundtrack have worked on a broad range of Mega Man games, including every game from Mega Man 1 through 8, as well as Mega Man & Bass.
