The month-long celebrations will culminate in an ICT CEO Night gala dinner with President Arroyo as guest of honor on June 26. Hosting the dinner will be the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P). During the dinner, the CICT, together with industry leaders, will present to the President the 'Final National ICT Roadmap''a medium-term development plan for the whole ICT industry.

On the same night, the trailblazers of the country's BPO industry will be recognized at the Philippine Cyberservices Pioneer Awards program organized by the CICT and Computerworld Philippines.

OTHER EVENTS

Elsewhere in the country, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is organizing a three-day ICT and tourism business conference and exhibit dubbed as 'InTourPreneur 2006' that will run from June 21 to 23 at the Waterfront Hotel.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Region IV is holding the first ICT conference for the CALABARZON (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) area on June 29 to 30 at the Tagaytay City Convention Center.
