Last week, I decided to change my profile image in Twitter. Things did not go well. At first, the Twitter software refused to accept my new image. When I tried again later, Twitter claimed to replace my old image with the new one. However, when I checked, I found I now had no image at all! Eventually, after a few more tries, I was able to get things to work as expected.
It turns out that am not the only one to have had this problem. Twitter is aware of the issue and is working on a fix (as confirmed in this ).
If you pay a visit to your Twitter account page at http://www.twitter.com/home, you'll find a list of the messages you've recently sent and received. Following each entry is a line that indicates when and from where the message was posted. The "where" refers to what Twitter software was used to post the message. If a message was created from Twitter's Web site, the "where" will simply be "from Web." If the message instead came from a third-party Twitter client, it will be cited as the "where." For example, if you used , the message will say "from Twitterrific."
