As SGI fights to stay alive, users hope for the best

For SGI, the most fiscal quarter was not kind. Revenue for the three months ending March 31 was $108 million, down from revenues of $159 million in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a net loss of $43 million in the just-completed quarter, but the bankruptcy filing eliminates some of the company's debt.
