Soul Calibur Announcement in May

25.04.2011
The tweet above from Project Soul director Daishi Odashima today capped a week of tweets that seem to be building to an official reveal of the Soul Calibur team's next game -- likely a proper Soul Calibur V, which also corresponds to Odashima's Twitter , where he declared that "SC is back!"

Another set of tweets talk about controls, specifically easing the stress of players who prefer using a gamepad to play rather than a joystick. Odashima is a self-professed pad player, since "we [the team] plan on reducing commands like A+K so moves are easier to pull off on pad."

Odashima has typically played it coy since December, not really giving away too much on what he's working on, but a May announcement suggests the game is moving along nicely, and that would also be right before E3 in June, which leads us to suspect that this new Soul Calibur title will be at the expo -- preferably playable, of course.
