NTT Malaysia opens second data centre

Technology firm NTT MSC (NTT MSC) has launched a second major data centre in Malaysia's Cyberjaya to service multinational customers.

According to NTT MSC representatives, the new facility, Cyberaya2, which opened in January, is its second data centre in the country, to help meet rising demand from international customers.

NTT MSC (www.nttmsc.com.my), established in September 1997, is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications (NTT Com). NTT MSC, which provides global network, data centre, system integration and a full suite of Internet services for retail and other businesses.

Multilingual support

Company representatives said that Cyberjaya2 offered power and air conditioning redundancy and dual power supply, as well as risk diversification using multiple carrier networks. The centre would provide customer support in English and other languages on a 24/7 basis.

In addition, the new premium data centre would enable NTT MSC to leverage its technological expertise and service expertise for the benefit of multinational IT companies, financial institutions and other customers.
