As you can see in the screenshot above, the graphics are much simpler, and you take a top-down view of the action. Over , Criterion describes the game as: "Inspired by pinball, retro music and game shows. Our gameplay is real simple. Drive into an intersection, cause a massive pile-up and blow up everything in sight!"
A press release announcing the game today confirms that Burnout Crash will also include the friendship destroying Autolog feature from Burnout Paradise , as well as, wait for it...Kinect support; "Two teams use gestural controls to play on one television in a party battle!" I'm far less enthused for that feature than the press release.
The game is being shown at EA's Summer Showcase today, so expect more details soon.
