The new version 3.4 of Test Designer comes with three major improvements:
• Creation of test models is simplified through new services, which simulate the behaviour of the model and specify expected test results;
• Addition of test to the repository is made easier through explicit description of tests in natural language; this opens the solution to less technical user profiles and provides the possibility of executing tests either manually or automatically;
• A new editor dedicated to the solution and integrated in Eclipse, which helps users be more productive in Model-based testing.
"Our objective is to improve access to model-based test generation for testers through a simplified model development and to increase integration of our solution in the software testing value chain with HP, IBM and Borland solutions" explains Emmanuel Vergé, Product Marketing Director.
In addition, Smartesting says it is continuing to improve the integration of its solution with the main test environments of the market; in particular, a beta release of the connector to HP Business Process Test solution, the reusable component-based solution of HP Quality Center, is now available.
