Eric Cooper, basketball coach at La Verne Lutheran School, was able to perform CPR on player Xavier Jones, who collapsed during practice on November 22. The rescue came thanks, in part, to a $2 CPR app Cooper had downloaded the day before. Granted, Cooper had also been previously trained in CPR, so we suggest you not go to extremes to field test the app on your own.
